Winner of the SFA Mission Writing Contest Announced!

The Grand Prize Recipient is Marissa Kings!

Marissa’s winning entry proposed the following mission statement for SFA:  “The Society of Florida Archivists seeks to connect, educate, and empower archivists and those working with historical records to preserve and promote Florida’s documentary heritage.”

All entries were reviewed and voted on by the SFA Executive Board during the December 19, 2013 board meeting.  As the contest winner, Marissa receives complimentary membership to SFA for the 2014 membership year.  Congratulations, Marissa!

The Board extends sincere thanks and appreciation to all who entered the contest.
